Issei Noodle: Noodles Galore

Issei Noodle is a special favorite during the cold winter months, offering heaping bowls of warm noodles. A great spot in any season, Issei Noodle has a warm, trendy interior with a friendly staff and affordable prices. The menu draws from a variety of Asian countries, particularly areas in the Pacific Rim. Ramen noodles, aside from being the go-to food for poor college students, are a dish steeped in history, originating in China but having been popularized in Japan. The Ramen dishes served at Issei frame the protein-rich noodles in many flavors, a far cry from the packaged instant variety you may be familiar with. Issei also serves up heart-warming bowls of Pho noodle soup, a popular Vietnamese cuisine. Outside of noodles, the restaurant features familiar meat, rice, and vegetarian Asian fare.

With so many vendors, the store is a destination antique market that requires several visits to fully absorb. Mostly stocked with early 20th century finds, a careful shopper can find antique furniture of every kind, weathered ceramics and dinner sets, framed art, and various collectibles such as jewelry and toys.
